Before installation, you should confirm whether the motor and reducer are intact, and strictly check whether the dimensions of all parts connected to the motor and reducer match. The following are the dimensions and fit tolerances for the motor positioning boss, input shaft and reducer slot.
Unscrew the screws on the dust-proof hole outside the reducer flange, adjust the PCS system clamping ring so that its side hole is aligned with the dust-proof hole, insert the hexagonal sleeve and tighten it. Then, remove the motor shaft key.
When connecting the natural connection motor and reducer, ensure that the concentricity of the reducer output shaft and the motor input shaft is consistent and that their outer flanges are parallel. If the concentricity is inconsistent, it will cause the motor shaft to break or the reducer gear to wear. In addition, it is strictly forbidden to hit with a hammer during installation to prevent excessive axial or radial force from damaging the bearings or gears. Be sure to tighten the mounting bolts before tightening the retaining bolts. Before installation, use gasoline or zinc-sodium water to wipe the anti-rust oil on the motor input shaft, positioning boss and reducer connector. Its purpose is to ensure the tightness of the connection and flexibility of operation, and to prevent unnecessary wear and tear.
Before connecting the motor and reducer, the keyway of the motor shaft should be perpendicular to the fastening bolt. To ensure even stress, tighten the mounting bolts at any diagonal position, but do not tighten. Install the other two diagonal mounting bolts, then tighten the four mounting bolts one at a time. All fastening bolts should be tightened and checked with a torque wrench according to the indicated tightening torque data. The correct installation between the reducer and the mechanical equipment is similar to the correct setting between the reducer and the drive motor. The key is to ensure that the concentricity of the reducer output shaft and the follower shaft is consistent.
