Reduction motor selection analysis

The main function of the reduction motor is to reduce the speed and increase the torque accordingly. Reduction motors are mainly divided into planetary gear reduction motors, gear reduction motors, worm reduction motors, belt drive reduction motors, etc.

Characteristics of various reduction motors:

① Cycloidal pinwheel planetary reduction motor has the characteristics of wide transmission ratio range, high transmission efficiency, light weight, smooth operation, long service life, and easy assembly and disassembly.

② Gear reduction motor has the characteristics of high efficiency, large speed ratio range, smooth transmission, low noise, compact structure, strong load-bearing capacity, easy maintenance, and good combination performance. The structural types include coaxial type, parallel axis type, orthogonal axis type, etc. The gears include cylindrical P gears, bevel gears, etc., the series include primary, secondary, tertiary, etc., and the installation methods include vertical and horizontal.

③ Turbine worm reducer has the characteristics of large transmission ratio, compact structure, stable and reliable operation, small size, light weight and low noise.

④ Belt drive reduction motor has the characteristics of simple structure, high efficiency, long life, smooth transmission, and easy assembly and disassembly. The transmission belt forms include ordinary V-belts, narrow V-belts, high-strength triangle belts, etc. Belt drive reduction motors cannot be used in situations with explosion-proof requirements.

⑤ Continuously variable transmission. In some mixing equipment, a continuously variable transmission needs to be selected because the process conditions require the mixing shaft to operate at a variable speed. The main function of the continuously variable transmission is to adjust the working speed at any time according to the actual needs of production to obtain the most suitable working speed. Its transmission ratio can be continuously changed within the predetermined range of the design. It is widely used in planetary friction type continuously variable transmissions for mixers. It has the characteristics of compact structure, small size and small volume. Full volume, large transmission range, stepless adjustment, high transmission efficiency and stable performance.
