A stepper motor is an induction motor. Its working principle is to use electronic circuits to convert DC power supply into time-sharing power supply and control the current in multi-phase sequence. Use this current to power the stepper motor so that the stepper motor can work normally. The driver is a time-sharing power supply and a multi-phase sequence controller for the stepper motor.

Although stepper motors have been widely used, stepper motors are not like ordinary DC motors, and AC motors are commonly used. It must be used by a control system composed of double-ring pulse signals, power drive circuits, etc. Therefore, it is not easy to use stepper motors well. It involves many professional knowledge such as mechanics, electrical machinery, electronics and computers.

Stepper motors are actuators that convert electrical pulses into angular displacement. In layman's terms: when the stepper motor driver receives a pulse signal, it drives the stepper motor to rotate a fixed angle (ie, step angle) in the set direction. The angular displacement can be controlled by controlling the number of pulses to achieve precise positioning; at the same time, the speed and acceleration of the motor rotation can be controlled by controlling the pulse frequency to achieve the purpose of speed regulation.
