Stepper motors use electronic circuitry to convert direct current into time-divided power. Multi-phase sequence control current is used to power the stepper motor. So during use, if the stepper motor fails to operate normally, what methods can we use to determine whether it is damaged?
First of all, without connecting any equipment or wiring, separate the stepper motor, do not touch the wires, and turn the shaft by hand. The fine motor only needs to have a certain strength to rotate smoothly without any jamming. If there is jamming or failure to rotate, the motor is damaged. It is also possible that the bearings, rotor and stator are worn. Excessive force may cause injury.
